The Duo „Love on the Rocks” consists of the fulltime musicians Mac Wiebe & Barbara Wiebe, who for the last couple of years have not only been sharing stage and rehearsal room, but are also partners in real life. After numerous projects of both between different styles of music from Rock to Jazz, they have been touring for years now with their guitar duo “Love On The Rocks” playing bigger and smaller functions, private parties, Bars, Clubs and all kinds of festivities not only with a cover program, but also with their own compositions. Their first CD with the title “Stay” has been published in 2017, more songs followed and a new album is currently in progress.
Within the scope of a charity concert for Michaels non profit organization for psychosocial support to drug addicts – we got to know each other and remained amicably connected. After the passing away of Michael`s beloved wife Birgit, he started writing in order to assimilate the loss he had just experienced. He decided to assign Love On The Rocks with the composition and production of the first two songs he had ever written and sung: The two songs you will find on the current first CD of Michael R. in cooperation with Mac & Barbara Wiebe.
